Fall Recreational Soccer

Recreational Soccer — Done Right
Organized by professional staff and supported by volunteer coaches.
Players can request to play with friends, and families enjoy a simple experience with no required volunteering beyond coaching.

Players of all skill levels are welcome, from beginners trying soccer for the first time to experienced players who want a fun fall season!

Ages: U9–U14 (School year based system)
Training: 2 practices per week plus games on Saturdays

Registration closes earlier this year due to the earlier league start date. Teams are formed in July, so we encourage families to register early to guarantee placement.

Play with Friends
Players can request to be placed on the same team as their friends or schoolmates when registering. We do our best to accommodate all requests so kids can enjoy the season together.

Unlike many recreational programs that only play in-house games, our teams compete against other clubs throughout the Greater Sacramento area.

U10-U14 SPRING RECREATIONAL PROGRAM

Davis Legacy’s Recreational Program is for boys and girls of all abilities who seek a fun and active soccer learning and playing environment without the time
commitment and pressure of competing in a competitive soccer program.

Davis Legacy recreational soccer begins at the U10 age group and runs through U14. The U stands for under, but this can be a bit confusing. Davis Legacy Soccer Club follows the US Soccer and FIFA mandate that uses the calendar year to determine age groups, instead of the previously used school year calendar. The calendar year age groups run from January 1st through December 31st. 

Each age group consists of two birth years and you can read the chart below to determine which age group your child should register in.

SPRING 2026 SEASON KEY DETAILS

The Spring 2026 season is open to U10 to U14 players only.  All players will attend 1 weekly 60-minute practice session during the week (Players can choose either Tuesday or Wednesday) where they will work on 1v1 skills, passing & receiving, shooting technique, and decision making on and off the ball. All players will also attend a 1-hour game day on Friday Evenings where they get to put their new found skills to the test in small-sided games and matches! All sessions will be led by Davis Legacy  coaching staff.

Dates: The spring program lasts 8 weeks, starting March 17 2026 and running through May 8, 2026. You can select the practice day that most suits your schedule.
