 U10-U19 RECREATIONAL PROGRAM

Davis Legacy’s Recreational Program is for boys and girls of all abilities who seek a fun and active soccer learning and playing environment without the time
commitment and pressure of competing in a competitive soccer program.

Davis Legacy recreational soccer begins at the U10 age group and runs through U19. The U stands for under, but this can be a bit confusing. Davis Legacy Soccer Club follows the US Soccer and FIFA mandate that uses the calendar year to determine age groups, instead of the previously used school year calendar. The calendar year age groups run from January 1st through December 31st. 

Each age group, except U19, consists of two birth years and you can read the chart below to determine which age group your child should register in.

SPRING 2024 SEASON KEY DETAILS

The Spring 2024 season is open to U10 to U14 players only.  All players will attend 1 weekly 60-minute practice session during the week (Players can choose either Tuesday or Wednesday) where they will work on 1v1 skills, passing & receiving, shooting technique, and decision making on and off the ball. All players will also attend a 1-hour game day on Friday Evenings where they get to put their new found skills to the test in small-sided games and matches! All sessions will be led by Davis Legacy  coaching staff.

Dates: The spring program lasts 8 weeks, starting March 18, 2024 and running through May 10, 2024. You can select the practice day that most suits your schedule.

FALL 2024 SEASON KEY DETAILS

For the Fall 2024 season, U10 and U12 Teams will compete in an 8 game season in the Capitol Soccer Alliance League with half of the games played at the Davis Legacy Soccer Complex and half in the Sacramento area. The first game will be Saturday, Saturday September 7, 2024 and all games will be completed by November 2, 2024.  Two of the game days may take place on Friday evening (rather than Saturday). Game schedules will be released by the end of August 2024.  

U14 Teams and above will compete in the NorCal Super Rec League. There will be an 8-10 game season with 50% of the games being played at Davis Legacy Soccer Complex and 50% of the games being played in the Greater Sacramento area.  All Super Rec League games will be played on the weekend with games beginning in late August and finishing by November 16, 2024. Game schedules are usually released a couple of weeks before the start of the season.

Dates:  Training Starts August 26, 2024, with most teams finishing on November 16, 2024.

Cost: $285, which covers all training sessions, facility usage, home game referees, insurance, and league fees.
