The Opportunity
Lead at Legacy.
Davis Legacy Soccer Club is seeking experienced coaches to lead competitive youth teams in a player-first development environment.
Successful candidates bring a strong playing background, previous coaching experience, and the leadership and communication skills needed to motivate young players.
Our coaches create a positive learning environment that develops technical ability, confidence, decision-making, and a lasting love of the game through creative, attacking, possession-based soccer.

License Support
Reimbursement opportunities for approved USSF and UEFA coaching-license pathways, subject to club requirements.

A full coaching kit and the team equipment needed to plan and deliver effective training sessions.
Travel Support
Travel reimbursement for approved league matches, tournaments, and team events.
Dedicated Complex
Home training and matches take place at the Davis Legacy Soccer Complex, featuring 16 professionally maintained grass fields.

The Work
Coach With Purpose.
The position combines player development, team leadership, family communication, and professional accountability throughout the season.
- Attend Davis Legacy tryouts, evaluate participants, and participate in team-selection decisions for assigned age groups.
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, team managers, and club leadership throughout the season.
- Stay current on developments in youth soccer through reading, coach education, and continuing professional development.
- Complete required SafeSport, concussion, sudden cardiac arrest, and club-mandated training.
- Attend scheduled coach education, training, and informational meetings.
- Plan, manage, and lead two to three training sessions each week for every assigned team.
- Attend, coach, and manage all league matches, tournament games, and assigned team functions.
- Provide two player evaluations to each player during the course of the season.
- Become familiar with the rules and standards of Davis Legacy, NorCal Premier Soccer, ECNL, NPL, and U.S. Club Soccer.
- Perform additional responsibilities considered appropriate by the Executive Director of Coaching.
