What is ECNL RL?
ECNL RL (ECNL Regional League) is a competition platform created by the Elite Clubs National League. It provides a high-level regional competition tier that sits just below the ECNL national platform.

Why Davis Legacy Competes in ECNL RL
- High level of competition, positioned between NPL and ECNL
- Professional game-day standards, including quality fields and athletic trainers
- Increased college exposure — in our first year, the number of second-team players committing to college has significantly increased
- Aligns with the ECNL player-first model, emphasizing development of the whole person
- Allows players to participate in high school soccer
How It Fits Into the Pathway
- ECNL (National): Top national level
- ECNL RL (Regional League): High-level regional competition
This structure provides a clear pathway for player movement, allowing players to:
- Move up into ECNL
- Continue developing in a strong, competitive ECNL RL environment

Fees
- $290 per month for 11 months (U13–U18/19)
Club dues are all-inclusive and typically cover:
- Coaching and training
- Club training clinics and goalkeeper training
- Field maintenance and facilities
- Insurance and US Club registration
- Referee and league fees
- Tournament entry fees
- Coach travel expenses
Training
- Minimum 2 sessions per week
- Location: Davis Legacy Soccer Complex (weather permitting)
Training includes:
- Functional/technical development
- Injury prevention
- Speed and agility work
Roster Size
- Teams typically carry 16–22 players
Travel Expectations & Requirements
- All league games are within Northern California (furthest trip typically Fresno)
- Additional opportunities may include:
- Participation in an ECNL National Showcase (select teams)
- Local and national tournaments/showcases
